Tom and Jane Brown Named Northlanders of the Year
Tom and Jane Brown of Kansas City, MO, were named 2018 Northlanders of the Year at the Northland Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Banquet, held Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Argosy Casino Hotel & Spa.
Tom is Chief of Staff for the United States House of Representatives, and Jane is an Assistant United States Attorney. Currently, Tom is a member of several of the St. Luke’s Hospital boards and the board of the Northland Regional Chamber of Commerce. Jane has been heavily involved on the North Kansas City School District School Board and Foundation Board.
Recently, Tom was awarded the Missouri Healthcare Trustee of the Year in 2010 and received the Phoenix Award for Community Involvement in 2012. Jane is the first female judge in Clay County, Missouri, the first female partner in a law firm in Clay County, and the first female Clay County Counselor in Clay County. She was selected to be an Assistant Director of the National Advocacy Center. She is also a published author and mediator.
Curry Real Estate Donates to Elementary School
Curry Real Estate Services, a full-service commercial and multifamily real estate brokerage and property management company, organized a supply drive for one Kansas City public elementary school with 99% of students on free or reduced meals. Curry associates donated more than $4,000 in school supplies and personal care items.
