Brock and Erica Schulte are a power couple. He is the bar director and cocktail whisperer at the newest Country Club Plaza institution, The Monarch Bar. She represents Kansas City’s own favorite spirits producer, J. Rieger & Co. Together, they have a full life and loving family, making the most of all that the Kansas City area has to offer. We begged for a tipple from the couple and they delivered. The balanced botanical notes of the gin complement the cinnamon spice with a tart, refreshing, and effervescent finish from the rosé. It’s the perfect beginning to a romantic Valentine’s Day tryst.

We’ll Always Have Paris of the Plains

3 oz of sparkling rosé

Shake first three ingredients over ice and pour neat into a stemmed glass. Top with 3oz Sparkling Rose.

For cinnamon simple syrup, steep one cinnamon stick with 1 cup sugar, 1 cup water. Heat and stir until all sugar is dissolved.
