Second Saturdays in North Kansas City’s will be held September 10, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at 1900 Fayette Street – just south of Armour Road in the city’s historic downtown. Live jazz will be performed from 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m. The Northtown Art Market, which will feature 20 top regional artists, also starts at 11 a.m. Classic cars and trucks will rumble into Northtown’s Cruise Night display area by 4 p.m. and music from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s will keep the area rocking into the evening.
Area organizations will have food and drink for sale in and around the festival area. Admission is free. This will be the final Second Saturday event for the 2011 Season. Visit the city’s website, nkc.org, for more information.
